Livestock Trailers

Hudson's Livestock trailers are well-known for their design and adaptability. These trailers are ideal cattle and sheep trailers. All models can be fitted with a removable quick-load deck system and the de-mountable model has a removable canopy giving you two trailers in one.

Features of these livestock trailers include:

• Continuously welded floor to prevent seepage of waste and to protect the under-floor timber.
  
• Continuous deck rail around the trailer to prevent spreading
  
• Hanging positions for dividing gates on every arch
  
• Heavy duty 2.5mm aluminium side sheeting

The smaller JG trailers in the range have a lift off canopy and can be fitted with rear loading gates and a dividing gate for small animal transportation.

Optional Extras with Livestock Trailers:

• Fold Down Front - The revolutionary fold down front allows the top quarter panel of the front of the trailer to be folded down to gain two major advantages. First it can significantly reduce the drag of the trailer, as air is able to flow through it while it is in motion. Secondly, the light which comes through the fold down front encourages animals towards the inside of the trailer, and proves a useful tool for easy loading.
  
• Vents - Depending on you towing needs, trailers can have vent that are closed in, or hinged flaps.
  
• Slurry Tank - The slurry tank helps to keep your trailer clean, therefore increasing its lifespan, and to avoid damage to the environment. It has a grid and side valve for disposing of the waste.
  
• Decks - These are for use with sheep or pigs and can be easily removed from a trailer and stored. The system is constructed from aluminium and the ramp is part of the rear door.
